Almeria, four points from the relegation zone, has lost three of its last five matches. Striker Luis Suarez was sent off with a straight red card in the 36th minute.
Celta Vigo –
Celta Vigo increased their lead from the top three by five points after a 1-1 draw with Girona.
Celta took the lead first, scoring Carles Perez’s goal in the 42nd minute. The visitors equalized on a penalty kick by Christian Stuani in the 59th minute. Stoiani scored on his second attempt after the first shot was cleared by the goalkeeper.
