Following PSG’s announcement that Messi will play his last match in Ligue 1, he is also being linked to the Premier League. Newcastle United and Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing him.
A move to England would also allow him to answer critics who previously said that the Argentine captain would not be able to replicate his style of play in the Premier League. Although Al Hilal and Inter Miami are offering him huge money, it is reported that Messi would prefer to play in the Champions League. A move to Barcelona seemed likely earlier, but the club has yet to make a formal offer and has not received a green signal from La Liga.
