In two seasons with PSG, Messi won two Ligue 1 titles and the French Champions Cup. He scored 32 goals and provided 35 assists in all competitions. He has been linked with Saudi club Al-Hilal, Inter Miami and former club Barcelona since leaving the 2022 World Cup winner.

Following PSG’s announcement that Messi will play his last match in Ligue 1, he is also being linked to the Premier League. Newcastle United and Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing him.
A move to England would also allow him to answer critics who previously said that the Argentine captain would not be able to replicate his style of play in the Premier League. A move to Newcastle will also allow him to take part in the Champions League. Newcastle finished fourth in the Premier League with 71 points in 38 games with 19 wins, 14 draws and five defeats.
Meanwhile, a move to Chelsea seems unlikely, as the club is currently in total chaos. Chelsea is 12th in the Premier League table with 44 points in 38 games, including 11 wins, 11 losses and 16 defeats. But the presence of Argentina teammate Enzo Fernandez could boost Chelsea’s chances.
Although Al Hilal and Inter Miami are offering him huge money, it is reported that Messi would prefer to play in the Champions League. A move to Barcelona seemed likely earlier, but the club has yet to make a formal offer and has not received a green signal from La Liga.
