The Barclays FA WSL is the top level women’s soccer league in England. Founded in 2011, the WSL has become one of the most competitive women’s soccer leagues in the world, as well as one of the most popular. The league consists of 12 teams, including Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and others. It is also home to some of the best players around the world, including Vivianna Miedema, Sam Kerr, Alessia Russo, Bethany England and Lauren James.
